We are a north-west based organisation who specialise in recording your music and getting it heard.
From our recording studio in Stockport you can record your band, rehearse for a show or practice your DJ set.
Through DIO Live you can join a line up on one of our regular gigs, sort out your EP launch or get booked for a festival.
We embrace the hands on approach of making it happen but reject the idea of going it alone - it's not DIY (Do It Yourself) it's DIO (Do It Ourselves) - together as a community
Our spaces are designed with productivity and comfort in mind and there's always someone on hand to help you hone your craft.
If you're having trouble finding what you need, we're always available via the Chat button and we'll respond as soon as we can.

Our band, Redwing, used Do It Ourselves Recording Studio for live performance recording. Dan put together an excellent package for both tracking and filming for us. The Toft Audio desk has beautiful pre-amps, great to hear a warm tone to my drums even before any effects or eq put on them. You're not just getting the space, time and equipment, you're getting Dan's wonderful expertise and understanding of the process. He really makes you at ease / comfortable to just get on with it. Can't recommend enough.

Amazing space, used the recording studio in Stockport and my mind was blown at how resourceful the space is. The equipment, the kitchen. A lot of love and thought has been put into building this space and you can tell. I will definitely be using it again. Price was amazing too!!

Just been to the studio for the first time. So glad I stumbled across this place. Fantastic studio, brilliant filly working equipment, everything you need to get going. Great communications with myself before hand and the instructions for access couldn't of been easier. Can't recommended enough rather than going through the mainstream studios. This is light years apart. I'll be a regular now.

Great studio experience, Dan really looked after us and definitely knows his stuff. Made recording our first single really easy and the end result sounds huge. We’ll be back for sure!
